Format:

Saturday: 4 round Swiss, Game in 60 with 5 second delay  (G/60,d/5), dual rated
Two sections; Open and Under 1400, sections may be combined for pairing purposes
One 1/2 point bye available if requested before the beginning of round 2

Sunday:

• • Quick Event: 4 round Swiss, Game in 20 with 3 second increment (G/20+3), quick rated.
  • Blitz Event: 4 round Swiss, Game in 5 with 3 second increment (G/5,+3), blitz rated

Round Times:

Saturday: 9:30, 12:00, 2:30, 4:45 (or ASAP after round 3 completes).

Sunday:

• • Quick Event: 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30
  • Blitz Event: 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 3:30

Entry fee: $50 for both Saturday and Sunday events; $40 for Saturday only, $20 for Sunday only. Scholastic (K-12), play for rating only, 50% off entry. $10 discount if registered by 3/6/2020, e-mail registration accepted, cash only on-site. MCA membership required for MO residents; available on-site.

Prizes:

Saturday: $360 prize fund based on 25 full-paid entries. Scholastic entries count as half.

  • U1400: $60, $40
  • 4.0 Bonus: $20

Sunday: $175 prize fund for each event, based on 25 full-paid entries.
$75, $50, U1600 $30, U1400 $20

Registration: Advance Registration requested. Entry fees may be paid in cash in person on 3/7/2020, or checks  (payable to Martin Stahl) can be mailed, to be received by 3/6/2020. Preference that all players USCF memberships have current memberships. USCF membership can be processed online at uschess.org and membership can be accepted on site for CASH ONLY. Please check the USCF site for rates or contact TD for details for membership renewal or purchase on site.
