2014 Spring Open Results
We had 16 people at the Spring Open on 5/31/2014. James Long (OK) got 1st place overall with 3.5 points and 2nd-3rd was shared by Abhishek Mallela (MO) and Joel Stebbins (MO) at 3 points.
The U1600 prize went to Brandon Stich (KS) who continued his good performance from the Winter Open with 2.5 points.
The U1400 1st place went to Arkadeep Ghosh (MO) with 2 points and 2nd-4th was a three-way tie between David King (MO), Mike Davis (MO) and Sylvester Dietrich (KS) with 1 point.

Next major tourney in the area is June 21st and 22nd in Springfield; the MO Class Championships. We’re hoping to have the next Joplin tourney August 16th if we can get a location.
